The Osijek-Baranja Study crosses the plains of eastern Croatia, from the Danube to the heart of Slavonia. Ride to Kopački rit, a world-famous wetland where 270 bird species have been recorded, and to Tvrđa, the 18th-century baroque fortress at the centre of Osijek.
Visit the monument at Batina above the Danube, the wine cellars of Erdut, home to a record-breaking 75,000-litre oak cask, and the castles of Donji Miholjac and Našice. Finish at the thermal spa of Bizovac and the Đakovo Stud Farm, first mentioned in 1506.
