The Šibenik Study combines a UNESCO-listed city with fortresses, beaches and the sea. Start in Šibenik’s centre at the Cathedral of St James, built entirely of stone, and climb to Barone Fortress, built in just 58 days in 1646.
Visit St Nicholas’ Fortress at the entrance to St Anthony’s Channel, the beaches of Jadrija and Martinska, and the Šibenik Bridge above the mouth of the river Krka. Finish at Grebaštica, where the medieval wall on the Oštrica peninsula is known as the “Great Wall of China”.
